Typed memoir entitled "Working for Admiral Rickover." This is an account of Gordon's work at Westinghouse Electric, where he was a research engineer, involved in developing new metals and nuclear reactor cores for the first nuclear powered submarine, the Nautilus. He discusses his research, launching of the Nautilus, undersea trips in the submarine, a trip to England with Rickover and reflections on his personality and work style.

Hyman George Rickover (January 27, 1900 – July 8, 1986) was an Admiral in the U.S. Navy.
